Wow! It is a new year and a new season. I am grateful for this new chapter and the opportunity to share all of it with you. Last season, we released new episodes every Monday and Friday. It was a wonderful and educative experience producing the episodes and also personally learning from them. The last episode for season one was released on the 30th of November 2020 then we went on a month break in December, which gave me ample time to sit back, examine and reflect on the journey that we started in June 2020. We have ever since then over 16000 total plays and from time to time, we were ranked in top lists of various charts. I am thankful for everything we are accomplishing. This season, we will travel with a different and steady speed. We will be enjoying one new episode every week on Tuesdays.

Before we ignite the engine and begin this new chapter, let us start with WHY. Why are we doing this? Why are we on this planet earth? Why are you working in that company? Why are you studying that course in the university? Why is that person your friend? Why are you in that relationship? Why are you on that diet? Why do you see yourself that way whenever you look at yourself in the mirror? Why do those thoughts run through your head?
This list of questions goes on and on, but the essence of asking these questions is to find out, to know or to be sure of the purpose of our life, our decisions, our actions and inactions. The answers to the WHY questions somewhat define your purpose. Your purpose gives you direction and hopefully motivation to remain on the path of your journey. Your WHY helps to shine light on your path by providing knowledge and understanding on various aspects of life. It helps to clarify doubts as well as acts a source of reassurance in times of turbulent storms of life. Your WHY reminds you of your principles and also helps you to know if you are applying the right principles of life. There are various principles that we could follow and live by to achieve something or get to a particular destination. Something that I learnt some days ago is that my destiny is not destination, so knowing and following my purpose might not lead me to my destination, but it would help me fulfill my destiny. And thinking about it, there is no destination until we are out of this world – we have to keep on being a blessing unto others, we have to keep on winning, we have to keep on learning and improving ourself until we take our last breath. Even in relationships, friendships or whatever kind of ship, we have to intentionally keep on working on it, keep on loving and adoring our partner or our friends or else life would come in-between and that special thing that we had would be bygone.
Starting with WHY could help us to be intentional about our greatness, our happiness, our success and our other goals. I have always heard that you have to be intentional about life and everything, but how can you be intentional about something that you are not sure about? How can you be intentional about something you do not know about? Knowing why you are embarking on a journey, knowing about the possible challenges and knowing the benefits that you could get from it, helps you to be intentional about that journey. It helps you to stay determined and focus no matter the kind of wind that tries to blow you off your track. It helps us to stand and pass the unimaginable tests of time.
Once, we know why we are on this planet earth, I believe it becomes easier to make plans for a much more purposeful life. We will know what we want to achieve in a day, in a week, in a month or a year. We would not just be living for living sake and passing time, but our life and everything that we do would have meaningful meanings to them.
Let us start with why. It could help to open your eyes to see why you should be grateful for the breath that is currently flowing through your nostrils into your lungs and out, it helps us to be thankful for the time that we have and each waking morning will become a new opportunity to make progress and do exploit.
