I’m still running
And my feet do hurt
Monsters from the past chasing
And I have no place to hide
At the end of the tunnel
With all my dreams flowing down the funnel
The shadows come hunting
Reminding me of the past mistakes
Saying there are no retakes
– no second chances
Different faces on the wall
Praying for my downfall
Blocking me from moving
Flogging me for all my sins
Until you came to my rescue
And out of the cave,
the monsters flew
You shined your light
The shadows disappeared
You set me free
